Sparkles & Glitter



I love sparkles.

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to ''sparkle-ify'' your outfits/graphics. I for one adore to bedazzle and put glitter and sparkles all over my graphics purely because I can!

Gimp is free and perfect to use and if you haven't downloaded it then I really recommend it.

►Download some sparkle & glitter brushes. I recommend the following:

 How to download: Click the download button and make sure you save it somewhere you can find it. Download WinRAR and click open and extract files. I usually extract them to a new folder. 

Place these files in your gimp file. You should have a folder that says Gimp 2.8 on your computer and if you open it there should be a brushes file. Place the new brush file in the gimp brush file and restart gimp to use them.
►Upload the picture onto gimp (CTRL + O or File > Open)
For a screen shot it's File > Create > From Clipboard

 ►Create a new layer (Shift + CTRL + N or Layer > New Layer) 
► Choose which colour(s) you want your sparkles to be.

► Start with small dots using the paint brush and place them evenly all over the dress



 ►Next use a different brush and make it larger and again place it evenly all over the dress

►When you complete step 2 you should go back to the first brush with the smaller setting and place more small dots on the dress but only in areas where the light would be hitting the dress

 ►Finally go back to the second brush, make it larger and place these dots on the parts where you think the light hits most. 

And you are done! It's simple yet effective and super cute. I hope this helps!
