Hello SDC, today I have decided to make a post talking about beauty parlor trends I have been loving.
I would like to start this post by saying that beauty is the eye of the beholder, and your doll should aim to satisfy no one but yourself. That said. I made this post for those who are looking for a change in their doll. The two dolls on the picture are made by me, they embody and carry out features that I have been loving on dolls.
The first one with the black hair is my main doll and the one I am currently using on pinklovelemons. The "squished" up face reminds me of real life models I have been loving such as Nasty Salenko who appears to have her features very close together and a big forehead. I choosed the prominent eyebrows as it is a trend I have been adoring among designers. Munchkin_xd, stefaj, scrivisolocri and ibeil. all make amazing thick eyebrows.
The second doll I made to reflect another trend I am loving between dolls. Big eyes. Creating your doll around her big eyes can result on a very interesting and original doll. Adventure yourself around the non-ss eyes and find a pair that speaks to you and let your creativity flow.
After talking about things I have been loving, it would only be fair to talk about things I have been hating among dolls. Overly big lips, it started out like a cool and interesting trend among some dolls who wanted to add an edge to their look. Following Kylie Jenner's steps some dolls now have very big lips. Now I love big lips in real life and some stardoll dolls rock it. Specially those who have darker toned dolls where it resembles the feature of what an actual dark skin person might have. However taking it to the extreme might make your doll look a little off. Very off.
