Recently we've got a wave of new members and that's amazing. I wanted to share with you something that will be helpful as you spend time here on SDC!
On SDC, you can post links. And that's very helpful when you're trying to post an image without making everyone refresh! Imgur is one option that a lot of people here like to use.
When you log onto imgur, you'll see the homepage which can look kind of chaotic. However, all you need to do is click the New Post button in the top left corner. I've circled it in hot pink!
It'll ask you to either paste a url, look through your files, or drag and drop. I'm dragging and dropping for the purpose of this tutorial!
After you upload your image, you'll get redirected to a page with your image on it.
You want to copy the address of the image to get a direct link, and you should get something like this: http://i.imgur.com/bIX9wIB.png
Now all you have to do is paste your image onto a disqus comment!
Another option is to use the disqus direct link to one of our posts, and that is just like adding a photo normally, except nobody has to refresh! I prefer the imgur method for me personally, though.
And there you have it! No more refreshing for images!
