20k comments later and finally a new post is being delivered.
throughout the past five years that this website has been running, we've seen people come and go, trends emerge and fade away, and the resurgence and death of stardoll itself...but one thing remains constant: our very own patron saint of sdc, username.
username has been posting for three years on a nearly daily schedule, serving us all the realness we could ever want on a silver plate. in the midst of us calling each other homophobic slurs and oversharing, she surfaces, reminding us of who we are and grounding us in where we came from. when we find ourselves weighed down by the hardships of life, our youtube channels being suspended, throwing our boyfriend's stuff out a window, lady gaga tweeting "f" and nothing else -- we have a constant, and her name is username.this place wouldn't be the same without her, really. i would argue that she is the most vital member of this community. i've went back through the admin panel and have pulled some of my favorite looks from her three years of posting.
miss username, one day i hope you post more than an elusive ootd post. but at the same time...i wonder what would become of this place if we lost our staple enigma?
