well. Today's article is going to be about Abaya dresses from the Middle East.
An Abaya is a loose modest caftan or robe worn by Muslim
women in the Middle East. Abaya dresses can be any colour, but they usually
come in black. Many Muslim women wear Abayas because they believe it is
accordance with the passages in the Quran about modesty and how women should
dress. Most women who wear Abaya dresses will wear them with either a Hijab
which is a head scarf or they will wear it with a Niqab which is a veil that
covers most of the face as well as hair and neck. Saudi Arabia requires women
to wear Abaya and Niqab out in public by law.
