Hello everyone! A week ago I completed my collection of the
Frankie Morello Tribute 2013 store and I wanted to take a look at the original
designs and how the original compares to Stardoll's designs. As you all know
for copyright reasons Stardoll doesn't completely match the original designers
clothing. Sometimes it is better than the original, other times they butcher
it. I think they did a pretty decent job recreating the Spring Summer Frankie
Morello 2013 collection. However they really strayed from the origianl
collection. They changed the colour, cut, fabric and overall shape of most of
the items.
Frankie Morello is an Italian brand created by Maurizio Modica and
Pierfrancesco Gigliotti. The Spring Summer 2013 collection was debuted
during Fashion week in Milan Italy. The collection features lots of silk and
beautiful colours.
Here are the looks I tried to recreate the original designs
using the items from the tribute store:
1. I used: 'Citron Bodysuit', 'Studded Over Shoulder Jacket', 'Indigo go Heels', and 'FM Tribute Earrings'. All from Frankie Morello Tribute.
2. I used: 'Satin 70s Jacket', 'Sparkle Bandeau Top', 'Tangerine Short Shorts', 'Morello Skater Heels', and 'FM Tribute Earrings'. All from Frankie Morello Tribute.
I used: 'Purple Rain Jacket', 'Deep V Drape Top', 'Morello Satin Skirt', 'Roller Girl Clutch', 'Morello Skater Heels' and 'FM Tribute Earrings'. All from Frankie Morello Tribute
