I get it, for a lot of us sucking color and patterns out of our outfits makes us a little upset... However, for me, a trend that I have been really loving lately (and clearly Stardoll also have been loving it) is Minimalism.
Whether I'm making outfits, a makeup look, or even a new room Minimalism is a trend that I use quite often.
Instead of going on a tantrum about Minimalism and how much I love it, I figured I'd just let the definition and the rest of my post do the talking:
Minimalism in Fashion:
These three fashion looks feature minimalism, they're simple yet elegantly beautiful
I used basic colors, and very little amounts of pattern to make these chic and minimalistic outfits.
Minimalism in Decor:
When I design minimalistic rooms, I find it important not to make them too simple. Adding in bits of color and extra decor items while still keeping that Minimalistic feel is my favorite way to make rooms like this.
I love the feel of simple yet cozy rooms.
Minimalism in Makeup:
For me, Minimalistic makeup is simple, and plain... The colors are light and using a pound of makeup is not what you want when making a minimalistic type look.
As you can see, these looks are quite simplistic featuring makeup colors that are "barely there"
I also removed my facemasks to avoid making my dolls makeup look too heavy.
